London Day 2-Wimbledon

We got up this morning and headed to Camden Town.
Every rock band that visits London needs to go to Camden Town. It has attitude and the clothes to match.
Lots of interesting characters as well. If you look closely, you can see that the dog has a red mohawk.

With Wimbledon in town, everyone was game to take advantage of the opportunity to see it. We took the District Line to the Southfields station to be greeted by this quiet, pretty English town.
It had its share of characters as well!

Wimbledon was great. We spent lots of time waiting for the weather to clear, but finally saw lots of tennis.

We saw the Williams sisters win easily in their match, and an entertaining doubles match by Pat Cash and his partner. We also met interesting people from South Africa to Munich to Indiana.

We even got to have the traditional strawberries and cream.
Wimbledon took most of our day, but we stopped at Leicester Square to see it and Trafalgar Square. The big sign for the new movie Hancock caught our eye and we decided we needed to see that as well.
We bought tickets, grabbed a nice Indian dinner, did some quick sightseeing, and made it back for the movie.
At 11:15 p.m., it was time to head back to the hotel. On the tube ride back, a young man sitting next to Josh, who initially just seemed exhausted, stood up on the moving train and, expressionless, threw up. Stood there for a minute, then did it again, splattering Eric. What a nice end to the day! It's crazy, but you just to have to laugh and keep going!

Now at 3:15 a.m., I have to go. We have an early morning running around tomorrow before flying to Norway.
